The first affordable housing apartment complex in Las Cruces constructed with voter approved GO bonds is officially open.

Las Cruces officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 13, 2025 for the Three Sisters apartment complex at 2245 E. Griggs Avenue. The $22 million project consists of 30 one-bedroom units, 20 two-bedroom units and 19 three-bedroom units.

Three sisters is one of five housing projects across the city to use General Obligation bond funds approved by voters in 2022 that included $6 million for affordable housing, $9.8 million for new fire station, $4.9 million to the East Mesa Public Recreational Complex and $1.98 million for park improvements.
